Searched for more emoji's for in Thunderbird, after installing Emoji it didn't work at first, but after restarting Thunderbird everything works perfectly now.
Although it would only work with version 102.0 it works perfectly so far with Thunderbird v115.11.1.

Don't work. Why do I not have permissions to add add-ons to my own thunderbird?

Nice expanded selection of emojis. If there were actually a way to insert them in an email, it would be awesome.

not working with unicode setting (place emoji not as a picture). There is only a broken link image showing when writing a mail. (TB 102)

Not sure if this is working with Windows 11. Got a warning to say my email using just 5 emojis (no text) was 24.4MB ! Pity as I love the emojis.

Excellent ! Will there be a version with its own art or emote. ? Please :)

For those who have broken link issues with Thinderbird and other email clients. Need to go to Settings and add exception for "Allow remote content in messages". The exception url is "https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/". Good luck!

Hello. Using TB 111.0.0 64bit and Emoji 1.102.10, but I can see only broken links when trying to use.
Any suggestion?
thanks

If you have a broken link, it means that you disabled the distant image display. In settings, use unicode instead. Works perfectly... even swiss cheese fondue emoji is available. Great job :)

I have Thunderbird 102.6.1 and Emoji
1.102.10
Uninstalled the past version due to broken icons and closed Thunderbird and re-opened and installed the newest Emoji.
I am still getting broken icons when I insert any Emoji. It does not work anymore.

I have tried another add-on for Emoji's since and it works.

Holla,
was ist da denn schiefgegangen? Nach jedem Emoji schließt sich der Dialog? Kann ich so aber gar nicht gebrauchen.
Bitte Schalter einbauen ob man den Dialog offen halten will.

Sorry, seit TB 102 ist der alte Sidebar-Ansatz nicht mehr möglich. Siehe auch die Diskussion hier: https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn/pull/53

Again, please update Emoji to cover Thunderbird version 102. 4 and 102.5.
The current version only works with version 102.0, NOT point 4 or point 5.
I've updated the add-on multiple times and it still won't appear or work.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird and the add-on STILL won't work. As best I can tell, it simply won't install.
I MISS MY EMOJIS!

It works for me in 102.5. Please open an issue at GitHub so we can look at the problem you're experiencing in more detail: https://github.com/mganss/EmojiAddIn/issues

Unfortunately, in the new popup version of the add-on the selection of emojis is extremely limited and I personally find the new selection not very useful. In addition, the normal "smile" emoji has been replaced with the "grin" emoji which has a completely different meaning. It does not seem to be possible to modify the emoji selection in the popup menu.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.102.9).

The number of emoji should be exactly the same or even more than in previous versions. Also, no replacements of any emoji have been done. The emoji displayed are the JoyPixels set used exactly as-is.

Found out they are impossible to use, they bounce up and down when you mouse over them to select one :(

The new version seems to require complete removing of the older one (update from the menu is not enough), and next fresh installation. Then the Emoji button shows up in the tool bar, and the extension works.

Nice add-on.
Before I updated Thunderbird, and then the Emoji add-on, I managed to have the emoji panej fixed on the right side of the window when composing e-mails. Apparently, this is no longer possible, and it seems to be strictly a pop-up window. This is why the add-on is missing a star from me.
